How It Works
zStorage Reporter consists of two components. The first is the extraction program, which collects the necessary storage data on the host by evaluating the various SMF data. On the other hand it consists of a PC/Server component, in order to relieve the Mainframe or the other productive systems by preventing containing and the performance evaluations to avoid additional costs.
With this technology, we are also able to load historical Mainframe storage data into the zStorage Reporter Reporting Framework: This enables us to generate meaningful graphics right from the beginning. The Access and evaluation of your storage data is browser-based, i.e. no software installation on your workstations is necessary. Access is also possible via all common mobile devices.
With zStorage Reporter you have an easy way to present your storage data in meaningful and easily understandable graphics. These graphs, together with the knowledge of your mainframe storage environment, enable you to make decisions about configuration and utilization at any time, to evaluate problem situations in a targeted manner.
