BVQ v2025.H2

Highlights

Cisco LAN: Deep insight into your datacenter network BVQ° has expanded its platform support to include Cisco LAN. The initial release focuses on Cisco Nexus switches (NX-OS) and provides deep visibility into the Layer 2 topology of enterprise datacenter networks. BVQ° can help to:

  • Discover and visualize switches, Ethernet interfaces, port channels, VLANs, and MAC addresses
  • Monitor performance metrics for switches, Ethernet interfaces, and SFP lanes
  • Identify bottlenecks, redundancies, and potential congestion in Layer 2 networks
  • Correlate network ports and MAC/VLAN data with connected systems like VMware and ONTAP

This release marks the foundation for cross-domain network analysis and monitoring within BVQ°.

Reporting tables now support conditional formatting!
You can highlight critical values by defining a comparator, value, and color. You can even add icons to improve clarity and accessibility — for example, to assist colleagues with visual impairments.

This enables you to draw attention to anomalies, errors, and outliers and makes spotting patterns in tables faster and easier.

The new Analysis BETA marks the first step toward powerful in-depth analysis directly in the BVQ WebUI. BVQ Experts may recognize key capabilities now available in-browser:

  • Build a selection path
  • Configure a highly customizable table for the selected objects, using advanced features like multi-sort, filtering, and more
  • Analyze your selected objects with access to over 10.000 attributes across all platforms More data visualizations and capabilities are on the roadmap for future releases
  • Integration of BVQ into holistic service monitoring with streamlined KPIs and proactive problem resolution
  • Infrastructure objects are automatically created in Splunk ITSI and alerts can be sent directly into the system for easier problem resolution
